About

Hi, I'm Nav.
I work with youth, teens, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or carrying experiences that continue to impact how they think, feel, and move through life.

My approach to therapy is grounded in connection, safety, and respect. I believe that real healing begins when you feel understood, not judged. I strive to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin to process what you’ve been holding—at your own pace.
I consider it a privilege to witness people's process, strengths, vulnerabilities, and transformations. I trust in our human capacity to heal and grow and to live into the lives we all long for.
I use a brain-based, somatic approach to therapy, integrating methods such as EMDR, Brainspotting and Pain Reprocessing Therapy. These approaches support your brain and body in finding a greater sense of calm, balance, and improved overall health.
These approaches go beyond talking, helping to access and process deeper patterns stored in the nervous system. This allows for healing that is not just intellectual, but felt—supporting shifts in how you experience yourself and the world around you. This is done through the senses with eye-movements, eye positions, sound and somatic awareness which unlocks healing patterns in your brain and helps regulate the nervous system.
With over a decades of experience in the education system as a special education/alternative education teacher and 5+ years in clinical counselling, I bring a strong understanding of the challenges people face across different stages of life. I work collaboratively, meeting you where you are, and tailoring therapy to fit your needs and goals. The focus is on helping you restore a sense of balance, renew your perspective, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and aligned.
I am committed to professional development and am presently working towards my certification in Brainspotting. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (20371) in the province of British Columbia in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
